Hi Emma,
Thank you for your email.
Fear of flying is quite common and we always seem to have at least one person who has the same issue. One thing that all of them had in common was
fear of loosing control of their sense of safety and environment. It's your desperate need to be in control of the flight and they way that it is managed (landing and moving upward) it's normally because of childhood trauma where you always felt out of control and no one would allow you to be or take control because it's 'too dangerous'. So look at it why you have a fear of being out of control? How does it make you feel when you are out of control? Keep asking yourself that question until you feel that you have gotten to the bottom of that and then acknowledge it. Also another thing to look at is the specific trauma related to the emotion 'terror' releasing those two should get you on your flight to your destination.
All the best to you and remember, ultimately, it's a just fear and a programme that you have and it can be changed

Many blessings to you,
Evette Rose
